ROBSON GREEN ON GRAND SLAM FISHING AND HIS PASSION FOR THE SPORT
The actor and presenter popped by the studio for a chat with Paul Ross.
The actor and presenter, who stars in Grantchester, has a new show coming out on the Travel Channel called Grand Slam Fishing, in which he attempts to set a fishing world record across 10 different countries.
Green has long held a passion for fishing, and he was more than happy to discuss it with talkRADIO.
"Fishing is my therapy," he told Paul Ross. "I'm an actor - I pretend to be other people. But when I'm fishing, I am genuinely happy.
"All anglers know that fish tend not to reside in ugly places, so no matter where I am, it's difficult to be unhappy.
"In the show, I go after a badge of honour for anglers - the Grand Slam. That's catching three fish from a set list within a 24-hour window.
"Most anglers call this impossible, but if you get it, you enter the fishing book of world records."
Grand Slam Fishing airs on the Travel Channel from next Monday.
